- Semantic and Qualitative Place Modelling - Place knowledge graphs, linked geospatial data, qualitative spatial reasoning
- Human-Centred AI - Audio-based social media analytics, multimodal user profiling, bias in AI systems
- Location-Based Social Networks - Privacy-aware systems, geo-semantic user profiling, place affordance
- Ontologies and Knowledge Representation - Domain ontologies (health, geography), geographic question answering
